A new survey by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) shows Canadians want the Government of Canada to protect investments in their local infrastructure as it eliminates its budget deficit.

Still A Need for Rural Internet Connections

P3 Canada Fund Launched
PPP Canada launched its $1.2 billion P3 Canada Fund late last month by issuing a round one call for project submissions, with a deadline of October 30, 2009.
Municipal, territorial, provincial and First Nations projects are eligible.
The fund is aimed at public infrastructure projects procured through public-private partnerships.

Communities of Tomorrow, a partnership venture dedicated to exploring innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions, is working with a number of Saskatchewan communities to prepare brainstorming sessions on creative approaches to infrastructure challenges.
