The Facts About Entrepreneurship II

So what entrepreneurship ideas can you foster in your community?
One way is to encourage entrepreneurship programming in schools; Junior Achievement is a great example of this, with hands-on activities and resources for both facilitators and students.
Communities also need to form public and private partnerships to stimulate job growth and encourage other improvements.
At the end of the day, the attractiveness of any entrepreneurship initiative will depend on:
- ‘fit’ with the community’s capabilities;
- relatively low capital requirements;
- a high margin for error;
- ongoing opportunities to learn/practice entrepreneurship;
- significant payoffs; and
- ability to create an enterprising culture.
Is your community up to the challenge?
